Jonathan is the chair and one of the co-founders behind Luca & Luce. He shapes the overall direction of the brand, with a particular focus on how Luca & Luce is experienced — visually, strategically and on a personal level.
As an optometry student, Jonathan has a professional interest in eye health, visual comfort and sun protection. To him, sunglasses are more than an aesthetic choice. They should provide reliable protection, fit comfortably and feel like a natural part of everyday life.
His background in sport has also shaped the way Jonathan works. He is used to structure, competition and continuous improvement — qualities that serve him well when building a young brand from the ground up.
As chair, Jonathan brings together the different parts of Luca & Luce — its strategy, brand and visual direction. His work focuses on how customers experience the brand: from the initial idea and identity to the complete customer experience. This is how he moves the brand forward as a whole.
